What a joy it is to see our teens out in the community being a blessing to others! 💚🌱

Today, some of our teens (and parents too!) spent their morning weeding, gardening, and helping with some yard cleanup for a sweet member of our church family who needed a little extra help.

It’s more than just pulling weeds—it’s an opportunity to meet a need, love our neighbors, and put our faith into action. We’re so proud of these students and grateful for the parents who continue to show up and serve alongside them! 🌿❤️

🌿 JOURNEY TEENS SERVICE PROJECT 🌿
Saturday, August 29 • 8:00 AM

We have an opportunity to put our faith into action and serve a fellow sister in Christ who is currently unable to physically take care of her yard. 💚

We’ll be spending the morning doing some yard cleanup and gardening—working together, getting our hands dirty, and hopefully being a blessing to her in a practical way!

🧤 What we need:

• Work/gardening gloves (if you don’t have any, we’ll provide them!)
• Hedge trimmers (adults will operate these)
• A couple of shovels
• Small gardening shovels/trowels
• Pruning shears

If you can bring any of these supplies, please comment below with what you’re able to bring. And please let us know if your teen can join us on the 29th!

📍 Location: We’ll provide the address when we meet for group today, or you can send a dm for more details.

☀️ Soak Up the Son! 💦

A little recap of our ‘Soak Up the Son’ event this past Saturday! We had a blast playing, laughing, and making memories together! 💦☀️ We wrapped up the evening with a special message from guest pastor Jeff Alston, reminding us that as we step into a new school year, we can move forward with confidence because God has already gone before us—and He is faithful. 🙌

Whatever this new year brings, we don’t have to be afraid of what’s ahead because we know Who is already there. 💛
