A new Public Policy Polling survey (Dec. 2–3) finds the 2026 Florida Democratic governor primary tied at 22% between Jerry Demings and David Jolly, with 56% undecided.

Once voters are reminded that Jolly is a former Republican who opposed Obamacare and supported abortion restrictions, Demings’ support jumps to 45% while Jolly drops to 6%.

Early voting starts August 8-15, 2026 with election day on August 18, 2026.
