Cub Scouts OP Pack 20

Cub Scouts OP Pack 20 Our pack is chartered through the North Florida Council, Black Creek District. We are sponsored by the First Christian Church of Orange Park.

Our program is geared toward Cub Scouting achievements that will produce badge advancement, build character, and prepare your child for Boy Scouting. There are a number of fun filled events the boys can participate in such as Pinewood Derby, various camping events, Jacksonville Suns baseball games, and Christmas Caroling.

Orange Park,

I wanted you all to be aware of rash of local break-ins in the area. Over the course of the last few days First Christian Church property was broken into. They broke into the Pack's storage shed and stole Christmas gifts for our Scouts (fishing poles, camping chairs, hiking sticks, & flashlights), new sleeping bags, a tote full of rank ceremony items, and the biggest loss was the tote with all of the pinewood derby items; including the electronics and parts for the track, rendering it useless.

The troop side was torn apart and they are still going thru it. Their trailer was broken into and camping lanterns, propane tanks, pop-up canopy, and misc. camping items were taken. The church's storage shed was also broken into and a $450 power washer and 2 new basketball backboard hoop sets were taken

The Sheriffs have done a complete report on it and informed us about the break-ins in the area. Please get the word out to take appropriate actions to keep yourselves safe and protected. Have a Merry Christmas.
