Yesterday we were honored to welcome Joshua's Lights to our office as they delivered a generous donation collected from visitors to their Christmas event! 🎄✨

They also gifted us handmade train pens in our colors — such a thoughtful surprise! 🚂❤️

We are so grateful for their support over the last two years, bringing Santa and the Grinch to our December Train event and helping create special memories for children and adults alike.

Be sure to visit Joshua’s Lights this Christmas season for their spectacular display and light show, featuring Story Time with Santa and visits from the Grinch on select nights!

🍎🥦 FREE Summer Meals for Kids in Clay County! ☀️🍗

Clay County District Schools Food & Nutrition Services is excited to announce our Summer 2026 Food Service Program! From June 8th to July 31st, all children ages 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals.

No applications are required! We have two types of meal options available Monday through Friday depending on the location:

🚗 USDA Rural Sites (Off-Site Pick-up / Grab & Go)
Parents/children can pick up a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the next day to enjoy at home!
⏰ Time: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Locations:
• Keystone Elementary, McRae Elementary, Shadowlawn Elementary, Wilkinson Elementary

🍽️ USDA Non-Rural Sites (On-Site Consumption / Dine-In)
Children must eat their hot meals at the school during the designated times.
⏰ Times: Monday – Friday | Breakfast: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Locations:
• Argyle Elementary, Charles E. Bennett Elementary, Swimming Pen Creek Elementary, Orange Park Junior High

Please note: There will be no meal service on July 2nd–3rd in observance of Independence Day. Sites are subject to close based on participation.
