Orange Grove Country Kids 4-H Club meeting is Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Orange Grove Junior High Cafeteria. Nominations and Elections of officers will take place. Reminder: you must attend 6 meetings per year so if you think you are short a meeting please be there!

Orange Grove Country Kids 4-H Club meeting is tonight at 7:00 pm. Please remember you must attend meetings to participate in projects and show at the 2022 JWC Fair.

The community service for tonight is benefiting the Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Please donate individually wrapped snacks (energy bars, crackers, granola bars, chips, cookies) they can stick in bunker gear pockets when headed to fires and rehydrating drinks such as Powerade, Gatorade or Electrolytes.

We will also be collecting gently used clothing for the Falfurrias families who lost their homes in the fires last Friday. There were approximately ten homes that burned. Brenda Langley will be taking the clothing to add with Premont 4-H on Thursday. So if you can not be there tonight you can drop off donations at Fuhrken Insurance through tomorrow.

Jim Wells County 4-H Photography Contest entries can be turned in on Wednesday, March 2. The County Courthouse will be closed on Tuesday, tomorrow, due to elections.”

Orange Grove Country Kids 4-H Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 8th at 7:00 pm at the Orange Grove Junior High Cafeteria. Please remember meeting attendance is very important to participate in projects and to participate in the fair. The community service for February is blankets, socks and coffee cups to be delivered to the nursing home on February 24, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

Jim Wells County Fair Association has asked all the 4-H Clubs to donate a raffle item to the raffle at the annual meeting on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Last year we did the gift card board and it was a huge success so I thought we could do that again. If each family will donate a gift card or monetary donation and bring it to the meeting on Tuesday, January 11th we can put the board together before the raffle.
