Friends of Blue Spring State Park Welcome! We would like to invite you to become a Member of The Friends of Blue Spring State Park!

Friends of Blue Spring State Park is a 501(c)3 that through volunteerism and fundraising supports the Park financially to ensure that it remains a fun, interesting, educational and beautiful place to visit. The Friends of Blue Spring State Park would like you to join Blue Spring State Park in preserving and interpreting the natural and culture resources at the Park! We have monthly Membership Meet

ings, Special Events and Weekly Bingo & Brews. This offers you a fun way to volunteer and help support the Park! Membership includes 12 FREE Entries into the Park each year:
$15/year for individuals
$25/year for families

🪰✨ FIREFLY UPDATE ✨🪰

We’ll see you tonight, but unfortunately Firefly Nights are cancelled due to weather for the following dates:

• March 17, 2026
• March 18, 2026
• March 19, 2026

Fireflies are very sensitive to temperature and typically do not appear when it drops to 60°F or below, so conditions just aren’t right for viewing on these dates.

FIREFLY NIGHTS ARE BACK starting March 13th at Blue Spring State Park!

This special seasonal event offers a rare chance to witness Florida’s natural light show while learning about firefly conservation and the park’s unique ecosystem.
Enjoy the new boardwalk as you watch the twinkling displays! Please follow ranger and volunteer instructions so you can enjoy the evening without disturbing wildlife. Take a peek at our Firefly Etiquette to learn how to safely observe these delicate insects 🌌🪲

⚠KNOW BEFORE YOU GO⤵

🎟 After Hours passes are $14 per vehicle and do not include park admission fees. Park admissions will be collected upon arrival at the Ranger Station.

⌚Plan to arrive early - no later than 6:30 pm on the night of your reservation. All guests must leave the park by 9PM.

💡Helpful tip: purchase your after-hours passes in advance to guarantee your entry on the evening you plan to attend.

🔥Firefly Chats are at 6:45 and 7:15PM- Gather 'round to listen and learn about the Florida Single Snappy fireflies that are observed during this special event.

🔥March 13th - Firefly Season at Blue Spring Begins!!
*Ticketed Event* $14 per vehicle (park admission not included)

🍻Every Wednesday 6:30PM - Manatee Bingo at Riverwalk Pizzeria-Blue Springs Brewery in Orange City!
Join us for some great food, great prizes, and all for a GREAT Cause! Bingo cards are only $1 cash per card and all proceeds go to Blue Spring State Park.

💡March 25th - "Luminous Fireflies" March Junior Ranger Program
