Youth United set for gingerbread house contest

Youth United of Southwest Volusia Habitat for Humanity will host its 2nd Annual "Homes for the Holiday's" Gingerbread House Competition, Dec. 7-9, at the Seminole Towne Center Mall in Sanford, during normal mall hours.

Proceeds from this event will be used for building a home for a low income family in Deltona, Debary, Orange City, Enterprise or Osteen.

On Nov. 10 Youth United staffed a registration table at the mall with a gingerbread house constructed by students at University High School's Culinary Arts Program.
