INTERN SPOTLIGHT:
๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฃ๐๐! Keira Lynch is a senior at the University of South Alabama and has spent her Fall semester interning with the Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance.

During my internship, I realized just how important meaningful connections are in this industry. Building relationships with community partners has shown me that collaboration and genuine communication are the core of this industry, and it was definitely one of the highlights of my experience! I also gained a deeper understanding of how marketing and economic development work hand in hand, and seeing that in action, while contributing to the work, has given me a whole new appreciation for the process and the positive impact their work has on our community.
๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐ซ๐ค๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ง๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ช๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ฉ is Sage Lebanese Cuisine in downtown Fairhope! The food and drinks there are amazing. My favorite dish is the NYC chicken, but you really canโt go wrong with anything on their menu.
๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐จ I love spending time with family and friends, walking by the bay in Fairhope, or reading a good book. I also love antique shopping and browsing around record shops when I can. When Iโm at home, Iโm usually playing with my dog, Charlie, or rewatching my favorite movie, Pride and Prejudice, for the 100th time.

Thereโs honestly so much to love with how diverse Baldwin County is! I love how you can go from watching the sunrise at the beach to watching the sunset over the bay at the Fairhope pier, and how the area keeps growing, but still holds onto the small-town charm and warm, welcoming community feel. This place will always feel like home to me, no matter where I go!
