As we all work together to strengthen and maintain our ATV trail system in Maine, it is important to remember that approximately 80% of our trails cross private land. Our trail network relies entirely on the generosity of these property owners.

Please remember to respect the land we ride on and take a moment to express your gratitude to the landowners who generously allow us access to their property. Continuing to build positive relationships with them is essential to keeping our trails open for everyone.

This bridge is a long way from home for us but it needed attention and we got it done. Thank you everyone for your help today!

The Oquossoc ATV Club has an unplanned work project to be performed September 9th on the trail between Rev It Up Sport Shop and Madrid/Phillips. A bridge deck needs repair and any help would be appreciated! Thank you for your patience if you plan to ride through. The approximate location is (44.9245408, -70.4584531).

WOW, what a turnout for the Trailside BBQ! We didn’t make it to 2pm before we ran out of food and are really sorry for that. We would like to thank you all for stopping by for a bite and invite you to return next year!

Save the date for the Oquossoc ATV Club Annual Toy & Winter Clothing Drive on October 11th! We-Atv 207 will be joining us for a ride to Quill Hill and beyond. Details are still being worked out but it’s sure to be a fun day with raffles and more!

As you may know, the Oquossoc ATV Club trails sit entirely on unorganized territory lands governed by the Maine Land Use Planning Commission (LUPC). The LUPC is currently beginning the process of updating its Comprehensive Land Use Plan, which is the guiding policy document that helps shape land use, zoning, and development throughout approximately 10.4 million acres of Maine.

Whether you live or recreate on lands overseen by the LUPC, it is time to let your voice be heard to ensure the future protection and support of our trail systems. Please take a few minutes to complete their survey and share your feedback.
