Our ribbon-cutting was a success! Thanks to the work everyone put into it. Much appreciation to the Opp Chamber of Commerce for their help with this presentation; and we were proud to see Mayor McCurley and staff show up, too. We are thankful to Bob Taylor's Carpet 1, Sweet Water Baptist Church, Southern Independent Bank, the SouthSide Ladies Bible, and the Opp Chamber for bringing their wonderful displays to the park. My apologies to the three young ladies who came to represent SIB and support our event; I failed to identify who you were. Thank you very much for coming and thank you ALL! We still have spaces on the trails for more displays, so get to work!!! Don't miss out on this OPPortunity to get some free advertising and recognition!

The Frank Jackson Trail Masters will have their monthly meeting October 6th 6pm at the Opp Adult Activity Center located at 500 Brantley St. Come join us in a comfortable seated environment. Please bring your own refreshments.

Hey all! Our ribbon-cutting to kick off this fall's Scarecrows in the Park is tomorrow, Thursday the 1st of October. We will be at the start of the Dogwood Trail where there is a nice array of displays to enjoy looking at. We thank the businesses and churches that are participating in this event, the staff at FJSP, as well as the Opp Chamber of Commerce for their help with tomorrow's gathering. Even after the ribbon-cutting is successful and over with, we will still have room to acommodate any late-comers who would like to join in on the fun and set up a display. The Frank Jackson Trail Masters wants the whole community involved! We hope you enjoy these pics of Trail Masters clowning around and having fun and enjoying what we do, while pitching in a hand to help present this to you.

We are proud to announce The Opp Chamber of Commerce reserved a great location to put their Scarecrow display on the Magnolia Trail today. It's a good thing; let's go, Opp!

Bob Taylor's Carpet 1 and Sweetwater Baptist Church have made great choices on finding spots to place their displays for ScareCrows in the Park at FJ State Park. The trails are looking good and we welcome your businesses, churches, and hobbyists to come on out and get your spot reserved, too! Our club's monthly meeting will be this Tuesday, September 1st 5PM, one hour earlier than usual, and will be held at our storage shed in the maintainence area of Frank Jackson State Park. Reason for this temporary change is to gear up in preparation for our annual Scarecrows in the Park event.

There will be no July monthly meeting at the Opp Activity Center for the Trail Masters as was decided at our June meeting to consider our time at the Independence Day event to be our informal meeting. Our next meeting will be August 4th. There will be another posting of the August 4th meeting as a reminder. Thank you, enjoy your summer!
