Today, we had the opportunity to hear the inspiring story of one of our board members, Joey Richard at the Rotary Club of Opelousas Sunrise After Dark. He shared his journey as a barber and business owner, highlighting the dedication and perseverance that led to his success.

In October 2015, Joey became an apprentice barber and committed himself to studying not only the craft of barbering but also the business behind it. He spent five years at Honeycomb Barbershop, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience.

In 2017, he became involved in providing free haircuts for children, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community. He also became a Mason and currently serves as the President of the Masons in Eunice.

In 2020, Joey took a leap of faith and decided to open his own barbershop. Guided by his favorite scripture, Habakkuk 2:2, he pursued the vision placed in his heart. On May 15, 2020, he officially opened Hollywood Cutz (315 W. Landry Street, Opelousas, LA).

Thank you, Mr. Joey Richard, for sharing your inspiring story of faith, service, and entrepreneurship. Your journey is a testament to the power of vision, hard work, and perseverance.

🎉 We love celebrating birthdays! 🎉

Today, during our monthly staff meeting, we took the opportunity to get out of the office and enjoy lunch together as a team. It was a productive and exciting lunch filled with collaboration, laughter, and great conversation.

We also had the pleasure of celebrating our Advocate Supervisor, Adrian Girons birthday! 🎂🎈

Thank you to our amazing team for your dedication and hard work. Moments like these remind us of the importance of teamwork, appreciation, and celebrating one another.

Happy Birthday Adrian 🎉🎂🥳
