My name is Dori Comeaux and I am the Community Outreach Director of the St. Landry-Evangeline United Way. Each month I host a Social Services meeting. This meeting brings all the different non-profit agencies in our parishes together. In the meeting the agencies share who they are and what they do. They also give updates on all the events that they have coming up. It is a wonderful meeting that re

ally helps the agencies to connect and share resources that they each have available. After hosting more than a few, I thought that something more needed to come from these meetings. I thought that we need to get all of this great information out to the public so that the people from our communities could have a better chance to participate in all the stuff that is slowly making a ripple in St. Landry and Evangeline parishes. So, this page is set up to do just that and I really hope that it will be a successful attempt to get the information out to you. I am a firm believer that information is power and that one should not keep it to themselves.
