The Gumbo Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to the entire community for making the 2026 Rabbit Cook-Off benefit for Nick Brown an overwhelming success.

This Cook-Off was an absolute blessing, and it’s all because of YOU. Your love is loud, your support is strong, and your spirit is unmatched.

To every volunteer, supporter, donor, cook team, attendee, biker and jeeper, bidder, and every single person who showed up or contributed with love in their heart — THANK YOU.

You proved once again what makes St. Landry Parish special: when one of our own needs us, we show up big. Nick and his family felt that love in every handshake & hug, every prayer, every smile, every bid, every sample, every bike & jeep, and every dollar raised.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank YOU for making this year’s benefit a wonderful success.

This is why we are all part of the GUMBO FAMILY!

As always, much love, many thanks, and God Bless!
