💡 Did You Know?

According to 2024 Census data, the median household income in St. Landry Parish is $44,500 per year.

For many families, that income has to cover housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, childcare, medical expenses, and so much more. When an unexpected emergency happens, even a small financial setback can become overwhelming.

At Heaven's Kitchen, we believe no family should have to face those moments alone. Through the generosity of our community, we're able to step in and provide hope when it's needed most.

"Our mission means the world to me because it allows us to show up for our community when they need it most. Life can change in an instant, and sometimes all it takes is a helping hand to get through a difficult season.
It's also a beautiful way to honor the legacy of a man who lived to serve others through food and fellowship. Having known and worshipped alongside Seth's dad, being part of Heaven's Kitchen is especially meaningful to me. It allows me to help carry on his spirit of generosity and genuine care for people."
