Free Developmental Screenings

The LSUS School Psychology Program will be providing free developmental screenings for children ages 2-6 this summer as part of their developmental assessment course. The developmental screening will examine their communication skills, cognitive developmental, social-emotional skills, self-help skills, and motor skills. All families will receive a summary of their child's results as well as individualized recommendations to support their developmental needs. Appointments are required. Parents who are interested can complete the interest form. Dads & Kids St. Landry Parish Fire District #6 #6 and theEunice City Marshal's Officee proudly present a FREE Community Fishing Event!

🎣 No fishing license is required, as this event falls on a Free Fishing Day provided by Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries.

🏆 Trophy Categories:

Biggest Fish
Longest Cast

🎁 The first 23 children to arrive will receive a FREE fishing pole.

🚗 Designated parking areas will be available for participants to avoid interfering with non-participating visitors.

🕗 Event Time:8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🍔 Free Food & Drinks:• Barbecue Hamburgers• Hot Dogs• Bottled Water

The Eunice Recreational Center, in partnership with Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries will provide:
25 rod-and-reel fishing poles
25 cane poles

Fishing equipment will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Come out and enjoy a free fun family event We will have fun jumps, water slides, dunking booth, music, food and drinks. Petting zoo coming back, Swing Masters Golf Academy Foundation and vendors rolling in.
