Why do I love this time of year? Because I see the good it brings out in everyone. Christmas brings back memories of my grandfather, Poppy, and all the silly antics he pulled. From sporting his new, silky Christmas boxers over his pants acting like he was modeling them to sneaking over to the dessert table KNOWING he was diabetic but swearing “sweets made him sweeter!” 🤣 Amongst those memories, I am reminded of the type of man Travis Delano Smith Sr was.. selfless, compassionate, giving, and loving. He was respected by anyone who got the pleasure of talking to him for 2 minutes. He’s the one that never failed to remind me that helping the people around you was one of the most noble things you could do.
