Developing Youth Leaders in our Community

We provide education about making healthy decisions and work towards our goal of reducing underage drinking throughout our county. If you’re in grades 7th-12th and want to learn leadership building skills this youth group is for you. YAB is a student-led organization where students will learn social media marketing, PSA recording, public speaking, and provide outreach and education in the community through volunteer service hours.

We will come to your school and meet monthly after school hours. If interested you can contact your school counselor on what day YAB will meet. However, as a result of COVID-19 we are doing online meetings (PLEASE CONTACT US BY EMAIL/PHONE FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT MEETINGS). Parents are more than welcome to join our meetings. If you or your child are interested in being apart of Youth Advisory Board of Tallapoosa County please email us your name, phone number, school, and grade and we will contact you with more information.
