🔧 Help Us Plan Our Upcoming AWS Chattanooga Section Events! 🔧

We want to make sure our technical events cover the topics that matter most to you.

What welding, inspection, fabrication, or industry-related topics would you like to see at an upcoming event? Whether it’s a live demonstration, new technology, code updates, or a specific process, we want to hear your ideas!

Some examples:
• AWS code updates and interpretations
• Welding automation, cobots, and robotics
• NDE methods and inspection techniques
• WPS/PQR development
• Metallurgy and weld failures
• Pipe welding and fabrication
• Welding education and workforce development
• New welding equipment and technology
• Welding safety
• Industry guest speakers

We had a GREAT turnout last night of 45+ people at our February section event focused on laser welding! A huge thank you to Andrew Pfaller and Eric Pazarena and the others from Miller Welders for presenting as well as bringing the trailer for hands-on demos! And a big shout out to Miller Industries for hosting the event and providing great food, drinks and a wonderful meeting space as well as a shop tour!

We have many codes, technical standards and reference material available for AWS members to check out and use. A lot of folks don’t realize this benefit exists—so we wanted to get the word out!
