🔔✨ And the Bell Has Rung! ✨🔔

Congratulations to Reagan Taylor, daughter of Jessika Smith, who was our official Bell Ringer and had the honor of ringing in the holiday season for Oologah! 🎄 Her joyful ring kicked off the Christmas Parade and helped start what we hope becomes a cherished community tradition.

A big round of applause as well to A. J. Peters, our vigilant Bell Guardian, who made sure the bell stayed silent until just the right moment. 👀🔔

Thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed tickets, and shared in the magic. Community moments like this are what make Oologah so special. Here’s to many more years of bells, cheers, and holiday spirit! ❤️🎄

🎄🔔 Ring in the Holiday Season with Us at the Oologah Museum! 🔔🎄

This Saturday night, we’re starting what we hope will become a brand-new Oologah tradition—the First Bell Ring of the Holiday Season!

🕕 Tickets will be available at the Oologah Museum starting at 6:00 PM for kids 10 and under who want a chance to be our official Bell Ringer.

🕡 Around 6:25 PM, Mayor George Peters will read a holiday proclamation, and then one lucky child—whose ticket will be drawn—will ring the bell to officially kick off Oologah’s Christmas Parade and Holiday Season!

👢 Fire Chief Mat Shockley will draw the winning ticket (yes, from one of his boots!), and will assist our Bell Ringer.
🔔 The bell will be protected until the big moment by our official Bell Guardian, AJ Peters—making sure no one rings it early!

Bring the kids, grab a ticket, and come enjoy this special moment with us. We’re excited to share a little holiday magic and make memories together as a community. ❤️

Struggling to find the perfect gift for that special someone this Valentine's Day?

The Oolagah Historical Society has the perfect solution—a gift that will, quite literally, last a lifetime!

Commemorative bricks are now available for purchase and will be proudly displayed outside the Oolagah Historical Museum, immortalizing your love. Your thoughtful gesture will be doubly impactful, as the profits will help fund the museum, preserving the rich history of our beloved town. What a fantastic opportunity to cement your love and pave the way for future generations. (See what we did there?)

Even Will Rogers said, "I never met a brick I didn't like." — or something like that.

Starting price: $60 (cash or check). Payments can be made and forms can be filled out at the museum in town.
