This is a photo from our Good News Club at Twin Oaks Elementary School in Knox County. This club is led by Dave and Lois Carter.

Pray for the souls represented at this club that need the Lord Jesus Christ in their heart and lives. Pray for David and Lois as they teach these kids each week and for the volunteers as they have conversations with the young people about the Lord.

We have 12 Good News Clubs that are currently meeting with two more clubs ready to begin tomorrow, October 30th! Please be in prayer for these clubs that God would continue to work in the lives of these young people and their families.

It's been a busy morning here in the office getting Good News Club invites out! We are so thankful for the leaders and volunteers in our clubs who faithfully work each week to reach these children for the Lord.

Why do we do Good News Clubs?

1. Children are victims of the current generation. Its secular values, immorality, and wickedness are leaving them in darkness. We must rescue boys and girls from sin by reaching them with the Gospel. Helping our children grow into men and women of God with a Christian worldview and biblical values is a worthy investment.

2. A Good News Club clearly presents the Gospel message to children, guides them to grow as disciples of Christ through God’s Word and prayer, and helps them become anchored in a local church.

3. Good News Clubs produce life-changing results. Sometimes parents or siblings notice a change and also believe. A pastor in Ohio talked about two sisters who attended an after-school GNC sponsored by his church. The teaching from God’s Word caused their lives to radically change. This transformation was evident to their parents. One day the mother was ready to believe in Jesus. Their father, a recovering alcoholic, also believed. All four were baptized and started to attend church.

The Good News Club at Twin Oak Elementary School begins today! This club meets every Thursday after school and is led by Lois Carter.

The Loudonville Free Street Fair begins today!

Your CEF Local Director, Dale Baer, and his team of volunteers will be at the fair all week. Please pray for them as they use face painting as a tool to give the gospel to those who stop by their booth.
