Troop 152 had an awesome time at the Outdoorsman Campout last weekend. We had great food, movies, and a ton of merit badge work getting done. All 16 Scouts earned 2 merit badges each, including 11 Eagle-required, 6 Shooting Sports, and 15 additional requirements checked off as these young men continue their trail to Eagle.

Eleven Scouts also completed Wilderness Survival, and they definitely earned it. With only their sleeping bags, they headed into the woods to sleep in shelters they built from tarps and sticks. It was a cold night — no dew in the morning, just frost, and even the dishwater had a layer of ice. Every Scout made it through and came out proud of what they accomplished.

We also made imitation Taco Bell cinnamon twists, and they did not disappoint.

Troop 152 had a powerful day of service at RiverGlen Church, where several Scouts — along with their parents — packed meals to help fight hunger. This project also helped many of our Scouts complete the service hours required for their rank advancement, and they showed up ready to earn them the right way: through real work that makes a real impact.

Despite the weather, everyone came in with great attitudes, and together they packed more than twenty boxes of food for families in need. The Scouts did a fantastic job, and the parents jumped in with the same energy. It was fast‑paced, meaningful, and honestly one of the best ways I could’ve spent a Friday — serving others side by side with this group.

And yes… our special guest Brandon, the Weatherman, made an appearance. Judging by the storm photos, he lived up to his reputation once again.

Troop 152 had an incredible Charter Sunday at First Congregational Church of Mukwonago. Pastor Mark delivered a powerful message that really resonated with our Scouts and leaders, setting the tone for a meaningful morning together.

The entire congregation welcomed us with genuine warmth — the kind that makes you feel like you’ve been part of the family for years. After the service, we were grateful to share hot ham rolls, chips, drinks, and cake as a small thank‑you for the church’s continued support of our troop and the young people we serve.

A huge, heartfelt thank‑you to First Congregational Church for your kindness, encouragement, and partnership. Spending Sunday with such amazing people was truly a gift, and Troop 152 is proud to be connected with a community that believes so strongly in Scouting.

Crossover Success for Pack 152 & Troop 152

We had a wonderful crossover with Pack 152, officially welcoming three new Scouts — Will, Eli, and Aaron — into Troop 152. The Blue and Gold banquet delivered amazing food, great company, and a fantastic atmosphere.

The troop gave these new Scouts a warm and enthusiastic welcome, and it was clear how excited everyone was to have them join the adventure. Nights like this show the strength of our Scouting community and the bright future ahead for these young leaders.

🌟 Troop 152 Conquers Adventure Rock! 🧗‍♂️💪
From scaling walls to repelling down towering heights and mastering belay techniques, our scouts showed courage, grit, and teamwork as they earned their Climbing Merit Badge!

🎬 After the climbs came the fun—silent 500, late-night movies, and laughter echoing through the bouldering area (aka our “sleeping quarters”). Some of the boys even made it until 2 AM before reveille blasted us awake at 6:45!

💥 Sore muscles, tired toes, and worn fingertips = proof of an unforgettable adventure. Parents and scouts alike had an amazing time, and one thing’s for sure… Troop 152 will be back for more!

Another unforgettable year at Wildcat Mountain with Troop 152! 🏕️🦃💥

From sizzling turkey dinners and homemade mozzarella sticks to bottle rockets flying in the sky and a potato cannon that stole the show — this weekend was packed with adventure and heart. We baked fresh Dutch oven bread, built shelters like pros, braved the cold with grit and laughter, and wrapped up Saturday night with a classic: Iron Man under the stars. 🎬🔥

So many memories made, so much fun had. Here's to tradition, teamwork, and the kind of camping that brings out the best in all of us. Until next year, Wildcat! 🌲💪
