Another wonderful week at Camp Le‑Phillips comes to a close.
Tons of fun, tons of accomplishments, and a whole lot of memories packed into just a few days. The boys crushed it all week and capped things off with a fantastic skit — huge thank‑you to Mr. Johnson for leading this adventure and keeping the energy high. Now we pack up, hit the road, and begin our journey home. What a great way to spend a week. Already looking forward to next year.

Day four at scout camp was packed from sunrise to sunset. Badges were finished up, the entrance archway was built, and the Scouts stepped up to host a respectful and well‑run flag retirement ceremony. We also knocked out our service project with some solid trail clearing that made a real difference for everyone who uses the area. Another great day of fun, hard work, and good scouting from Troop 152

Camp Phillips – Day Three RecapRain rolled in, but Troop 152 kept the momentum going. More metal was forged, more creativity unleashed, and the Arizona Ice Tea cans continued their transformation into camp‑crafted masterpieces after days of hot weather. We cooked all three meals right at camp, then headed over to another troop for some Dutch oven cooking and good conversation. Great food, great projects, and a full day of camp fun from start to finish.

Day Two at Camp Phillips gave us that perfect mix of real camp work and real camp fun.
The boys spent time at the forge shaping metal, learning how to handle the tools, and getting a feel for the heat and rhythm of the process. Over at whittling, wood shavings covered the ground as Scouts carved away, focused and proud of what they were making.Broccoli made an appearance at lunch — and yes, it was actually eaten. Small victories.
The lake stayed busy too, with fish pulled in by Scouts who were more than happy to test their luck and celebrate every catch. It was a steady, hands‑on day filled with learning, laughing, and enjoying camp life.
Camp Phillips is treating the boys well, and they’re soaking it all in.

If you haven’t made it out yet, there’s still time — head down to Heaven City in Mukwonago for our annual car show!
This is one of the biggest, most exciting community events of the summer, and every year it just keeps getting better.

You’ll find rows of incredible vehicles — classics, customs, muscle, modern builds, and everything in between. Whether you’re a gearhead, a casual fan, or just looking for something fun to do with the family, there’s something here that’ll grab your attention.

And let’s talk food. We’ve got pulled pork, smoked brats, and plenty of great eats to keep you fueled while you walk the grounds, check out the cars, and enjoy the day.

A huge shout‑out to our local scouting families — Pack 29, Pack 152, and Troop 152 — for showing up strong, helping out, and bringing that positive, community‑driven energy they’re known for. Their presence adds so much to the event, and we’re grateful for everything they do.

We also want to extend a massive thank‑you to our sponsors, Heaven City and McDonough Portables & Septic, for their continued generosity. Their donation of the facility and portables every single year is what makes this event possible. Their support keeps this tradition alive and growing.

It’s a fantastic day filled with cars, food, friends, and community pride. Don’t miss it — come be part of something special.

Troop 152 had an awesome time at the Outdoorsman Campout last weekend. We had great food, movies, and a ton of merit badge work getting done. All 16 Scouts earned 2 merit badges each, including 11 Eagle-required, 6 Shooting Sports, and 15 additional requirements checked off as these young men continue their trail to Eagle.

Eleven Scouts also completed Wilderness Survival, and they definitely earned it. With only their sleeping bags, they headed into the woods to sleep in shelters they built from tarps and sticks. It was a cold night — no dew in the morning, just frost, and even the dishwater had a layer of ice. Every Scout made it through and came out proud of what they accomplished.

We also made imitation Taco Bell cinnamon twists, and they did not disappoint.
