Youth Mentoring Action Network

Adults don't often ask young people what they want and need. At YMAN, we are asking. And we aren't asking as elders, we are supporting our young people as they ask one another. Read about it below.

From the desk of Dr. Torie Weiston-Serdan, Chief Visionary Officer at The Youth Mentoring Action Network.

📢 This year has been TRANSFORMATIONAL at Youth Mentoring Action Network! 🌟

From turning dreams into reality with our brand new sound studio where young voices come alive 🎤, to hitting our $100K milestone supporting Black girl changemakers 💫, our community keeps showing up and showing out!

And we’re just getting started... Our youth travel program to Ghana is opening doors to life-changing cultural connections and global leadership opportunities for our amazing young people! 🌍✈️

Behind every number is a story. Behind every program is a young person discovering their power. This is what happens when we invest in youth leadership and believe in the magic of mentoring.

Thank you to every mentor, youth leader, supporter, and dreamer who made 2024 unforgettable. Together, we’re not just building programs – we’re building the next generation of changemakers. 💪🏽

💬 YMAN 2024 was a mixtape of growth, impact, and unstoppable energy. What’s in store for 2025? Stay tuned! 🎵
