Who else misses this iconic spot? Countless memories were made at Eastside Cafe, a popular Chinese-Japanese restaurant back in the day. Chef Pil Sugai created many of its famous dishes, including the legendary Mafa chicken. Though the restaurant closed in the 1980s, its legacy endures—Mafa chicken remains a favorite staple at Japanese community gatherings across Ontario to this day!

Our Annual Harvest Bazaar is Sunday, November 8!

Worship at 11:15 AM, the bazaar opens at noon, and the live auction begins at 2:00 PM.

Come hungry: Mafa Chicken, Inari Sushi, Udon Noodle Bowls, Shish Kabob, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and homemade desserts. There are games for the kids, crafts and gifts, and it all finishes with a live auction.

Bring your family and your neighbors. We would love to see you.
