The SRMGA Boers of Summer boer goat show is fast approaching, June 27th and 28th in Ontario, Oregon. Details and sign up can be found on Showman.
Our annual youth show will be on Saturday morning. Prizes include buckles, banners (new this year thanks to Culver Family Farm) and payouts!
June is also our senior showmanship show and Culver Family Farm has provided some awesome banners this year for different categories. Make your plans now to compete as it is always a blast!
The 4-H group is again providing some yummy choices for breakfast and lunch.
A youth show, three ABGA shows, and senior showmanship. A fun weekend for sure! We hope to see you there.

The SRMGA would like to thank everyone that helped make the Boers De Mayo such a success! Our next show is the Boers of Summer, June 27th and 28th. Our youth show will be on Saturday morning before the ABGA shows with our judge, Trevor Clemens from Oklahoma, as your youth judge.
At our bi-annual SRMGA member meeting, discussion was held about how to improve our commercial shows. Look for some changes in October. We plan to try a wether dam show for does still in milk teeth. They will show by weight. Then we will have a commercial show that will follow ABGA age breaks. No cross entry of the two shows would be allowed. James offered to make plaques for the wether dam show and Ashley offered to provide ribbons for the wether dam and commercial shows.
Thank you again, everyone, for your suggestions and support. It takes a village. Looking forward to our June show and hope to see you there!

Showman for the Boers De Mayo show May 2nd and 3rd in Ontario is up and running. Sign up your goats and join us for a fun-filled weekend!

As always, raffle items are greatly appreciated and the proceeds help fund our shows.

It is time to pay membership dues for Snake River Meat Goat Association for the 2026 show season.

Dues remain $40 for the year and members get discounted registration fees at shows There are no additional dues for youth in your family.

To pay your dues, send a check payable to the SRMGA to Dan Walrath, 24617 Cemetery Rd, Middleton, Idaho, 83644 or PayPal and note that the money is for 2026 dues.

If paying with PayPal remember to add $1.50 for PayPal transaction fees. Email for PayPal payment is [email protected]

Our shows will again be held at the Malheur County Fairgrounds in Ontario, Oregon. Our show weekends are:
May 2nd and 3rd
June 27th and 28th (youth show Saturday)
October 3rd and 4th
