Join us Saturday, September 5th at the Lillian Gregerman Bandshell for a FREE showing of Disney & Pixar’s Finding Nemo under the stars!

Come grab your spot starting at 7:00 PM and get settled in. The movie starts at 7:30 PM.

What a summer, Onset! ☀️🌊🤍

As another incredible season comes to a close, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Summer 2026 so special.

To our volunteers who gave their time, our sponsors and local businesses whose generosity makes so much possible, our vendors and performers who brought our events to life, and our amazing community who continued to show up, support us, dance with us, celebrate with us and make memories with us, THANK YOU!

From summer concerts and festivals to some of our favorite Onset traditions, every event is made possible because of the people who love this little village as much as we do.

We are so grateful for another unforgettable summer by the bay. 💙

Launch service update - 08/26/26

As with many businesses that rely on summer seasonal staff, we are at the mercy of school starting again.

Unfortunately, we will be taking a significant hit this year and losing a majority of our licensed operators and seasonal staff after this weekend.

We will continue to run weekends, however, weekdays will be very limited. Please, call the office at 508-295-8160 or hail the launch on 68 for availability on weekdays.

If you are interested in a seasonal job for boating 2027, we will be hiring certified launch operators. All jobs will be posted on the Town of Wareham website starting in February. You must be 18 years old to operate a Coast Guard-inspected launch carrying paying passengers. You also need documented sea service, commonly 120 days of underway experience on similar small craft to meet the criteria when obtaining your limited USCG-Approved Limited Master Launch Tender License.
