When one of our yearly players is also someone who serves and protects NYS ( we have many who play every year ). It makes us take a second to say:
Thank you to all of our law enforcement officers , firefighters, EMS, nurses, doctors and any first responders.
You don’t go unnoticed!!!!

Today is heavy, 25 years later we have not forgotten where we were on that tragic day. On this day, we remember and honor the heroes and victims of 9/11. Part of our mission with The Charity Cup is to stand in solidarity with our wounded warriors - many of whom were deployed directly in response to the tragic events of that day. Today, we reflect on their sacrifice and reaffirm our commitment to supporting those who served and continue to serve and protect us. To our service men and women, fire personnel and members of law enforcement, we thank you for the jobs you do each and everyday. 🇺🇸

Day two of our 2026 tournament started with Tonya Oxendine from the Warrior Speak program at the Wounded Warrior Project sharing her story and explaining that even the strong high ranking military officials can struggle following their experience. She explained what the WWP does to support veterans and their families. and thanked The Oneonta Charity Cup for what this tournament does to help !!!

Then we played some golf on an absolutely beautiful day and raised some money for the cause!!!!
