🚨🎒 BLOUNT COUNTY — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🎒🚨

A child should never start the school year feeling unprepared.

On July 25th, the Blount County Back to School Bash will provide backpacks, school supplies, clothing, shoes, haircuts, lunch, encouragement, and ministry to local families in need—but we can’t do it without our community.

💙 Here’s how you can help:
✔️ Sponsor a child or make a monetary donation
✔️ Donate school supplies
✔️ Businesses & churches: Host a collection bin
✔️ Hair stylists: Donate your time to provide free back-to-school haircuts
✔️ Volunteer at the event and help us love on families

This is more than a giveaway—it’s an opportunity for our community, churches, and businesses to come together and make a lasting impact on the lives of local children.

📣📣📚 Blount County Back to School Bash Update 📚

This year’s Back to School Bash will be structured a little differently. To better serve families and provide more personalized school supplies and back-to-school essentials, we will not be using a public registration process.

Instead, we are partnering directly with schools across Blount County, as well as the Blount County DHR and foster care system, to identify and nominate children and families with the greatest needs. Registration will take place exclusively through these partner organizations.

To ensure fairness and reach those who need assistance most, none of our event coordinators will be able to nominate or register children.

We are incredibly excited about this new approach and believe it will allow us to make our biggest impact yet. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to serve the children and families of Blount County! 🤩
