Flag Day ceremony: On June 10, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Oneonta Elks Club there will be a special flag raising ceremony. We need an honor guard to attend and present the flag. There will be a fundraising dinner afterwards that will be free to Legion members in uniform. All honor guard and uniformed members should gather at Post 259 at 4:00 pm and travel to the Elks Club as a group. Please attend if possible. 🇺🇸

Today is Armed Forces Day... the one day a year where we celebrate all six branches of our military together. Whether you are in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, or Coast Guard, you are part of the greatest team on earth.
To those currently stationed around the globe, from remote outposts to stateside bases: Thank you for your vigilance. We know that while we enjoy our Saturday, you are standing watch, maintaining the gear, and training for the mission.
