Boxing Hall of Fame today. Thank you to all the students who took part in the marching band this year. We have accomplished a great deal, entertained, and honored our veterans with class and dignity. Pride Tradition Excellence is alive and well in the OHS Marching Band!! A special thank you to our graduating Seniors: Tessa Schaal, Evan White, Jen Scholl, Pat Pen*sse, Nate Thurber and Gabby LeClair. Your leadership and dedication to the group is a big reason the band grown as much as it has over the last 5-6 years and we have enjoyed working with you all.. On behalf of myself, Mr.Watson and the rest of the staff, Thank you for your energy, dedication and pride you have brought to the band.
To all other members: Make sure you give your best today not only for yourself and the good of the band but to make sure that these outgoing seniors exit on a high note. Next year will be even better so make sure your there to make it happen.
Thank you to all the staff and parents who helped along the way. Without your efforts and support, this band and these kids would not have had the experience of going to NYC, performing in the Veterans Day Parade, and certainly looking and sounding as good as they do on the street.
Last but certainly not least, Thank you to Mr. Watson for his 31 years at the helm of this band. He has steered this group from day 1 and the band is great shape largely due to his efforts over the years. I also pretty sure that if he chose to open his own travel agency he would do pretty well. Tons of experience. Californis, NYC, Florida, Kentucky and on and on. Thanks Mr. Watson enjoy today!!
