Someone has generously dropped off a couple bundles of 4T-5T pull ups if anyone is in need. They are in the pantry for the taking. Also some applesauce for the kiddos! 😊

💛 A note from your Little Free Pantry 💛

First, a huge thank you to the incredibly generous souls who made a major donation recently. Your kindness stocked our pantry to the brim and means the world to this community.

We also want to share something gently. Shortly after that donation, the pantry was emptied all at once by one visitor.
We’ve never posted rules here because we truly believe in meeting people where they are. We don’t know everyone’s story, and we never want anyone to feel judged for taking what they need. If you needed all of it, we hope it helped.
At the same time, our pantry works best when it can serve as many neighbors as possible. The spirit of a little free pantry is: take what you need, leave what you can, and know that others are counting on it too.

Please don’t let this discourage you from donating. Every single item that goes in that pantry matters. The good this community does FAR outweighs the occasional moment like this one, and your generosity continues to help more people than you know.

We know this post may bring out suggestions to donate to a larger food pantry or food bank instead. We love those resources too, but we won’t be addressing those comments here. The little free pantry serves a specific and important purpose. Not everyone feels comfortable walking into a formal pantry or food bank. For some of our neighbors, this is the option that feels safe and dignified. That matters deeply to us, and it’s exactly why we’ll keep showing up for it.

We’ll keep stocking it with love, and we trust this community to do the same. 🧡

Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in gift giving this year! Because of your incredible generosity, we were able to help a record-breaking 19 families with Christmas gifts 🎄✨💝 We have come a long way since our first years when we only helped one! We are so incredibly grateful.

Having families adopted worked out so wonderfully, and with just a little tweaking, this is something we plan to do again each year. We are already so excited about how much bigger and better this can grow next year 🌟🎁

To those who were not selected, please know how hard that was for us. We truly wish we could help everyone, but these times are tough and our resources can only stretch so far 🤍

I will be finishing up my last few drop offs today and tomorrow, and then I will be going offline to soak up some much needed family time for the holidays 🏡🎄Thank you all again for the love, kindness, and holiday magic you helped create 💕✨

If anyone is able to help this woman please let me know. She was claimed on the Christmas post but the person deleted their comment and I didn’t see it so she is without when she expected to be provided for. Her needs are: jacket size2x, boots size 9, sweat shirt 2x and socks. Thanks all!

Hi everyone please contact your person for drop off by tomorrow. If it’s delayed for any reason please make
sure to let the recipient know so that they can plan accordingly. Make sure if you took a family you actually buy for them. Thank you!

***Also added to the ones who are receiving. Please give the donators some grace. They are working in shopping for your family while shopping for their own family and friends, holiday events, holiday travel, and work. They’re doing a wonderful thing for your family so be respectful of that. Please remember donators are not obligated to do this nor are they getting paid nor do they have any affiliation with the pantry other than seeing a need and reaching out to help. Please respect them by working with them and not demanding more from them than they already are doing.

Also, we have a mom in need of food to feed her babies this Christmas season. If you’ve got any extra or can provide for her please let me know. Her message is as follows
“Hi I was wondering if you knew of any resources or anyone that could help me out with some food for my family.. I’m unable to buy any more food and I’m low and my kids are off for two weeks after today so it’ll be harder to come up with 3 meals vs 1 for them every day.. I usually do a lasagna for Christmas dinner as well and I couldn’t.. any help in the right direction would be appreciated so much.”
