The Onawa Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to report that the 2024 firework show went off flawlessly and with a bang this year! The men and women of Onawa Fire put in many hours into programming, building, wiring and producing this show for you, but without the support of our community and businesses we would not be able to provide the entertaining show that we do every year.

Onawa Fire would like to start by thanking the Monona County Fair Board for allowing us to use the fairgrounds to launch our show. With the positive feedback we got from residents, we will discuss with the Fair Board to make this the regular Fourth of July launching site. We would like to give a very special thank you to Mike Vaughn and David Radke for their incredible donations that allowed us to purchase the firing system which made this show possible and will allow us to continue for many years to come.

To put on a firework show of any size, it requires contribution from our local businesses and like previous years they stepped up to make it happen. The Onawa Fire Department would like to thank these businesses and ask the community to go and support these business.
