American Primate Haven As of February 2, 2012, we became recognized by the state of Virginia as a Non-Profit Home for Monkeys.

As of August 16, 2017, American Primate Haven is recognized by the federal government as a 501c3 Non-Profit organization.

They are both White faced capuchin‘s.
They are enjoying play dates and getting to know one another.

Kai goes crazy when a man comes around! Just like when Andrew went in with him Chris came over to visit him and he was so excited. Kai is six years old. Today we had Finn come over and have a play date. Finn is two years old. They are the same size. They get along so wonderful. We are so glad for Kai to have a friend.

Big, thank you Andrew East and his family, and for Chris and Crissy Finch for coming and helping us with several projects. One of the projects was JoJo’s window, which can now swing both ways. Now all he has to learn is to push the door and it will push going in and push the door and it will come out. I will keep you all posted about him learning this ability. I have taken the Support down so that he can learn before the cold weather.

We have family from New Jersey, who has come to visit this week. Andrew, is my nephew (my sister’s son) and always brings so many snacks and treats for the Monkeys! They all love to see him come every summer for a visit. Be prepared for some good pictures!
