Breathing is automatic.
Living is intentional.
There is a profound difference.
Every morning we are given another twenty-four hours, but what we do with them is a matter of choice. Some people simply move through the day, while others move with purpose. Some allow life to define them, while others allow God to shape them. Existing asks very little of us. It requires no vision, no growth, and no courage. Living, however, demands that we awaken to the possibilities God places before us each day. It requires us to think differently, love intentionally, serve faithfully, forgive quickly, and keep growing even when life becomes uncomfortable. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Abundant life is not measured by what we accumulate but by how fully we surrender ourselves to God’s purpose.
Every day is more than another page on the calendar. It is another opportunity to become wiser, kinder, stronger, and more useful in the hands of God. We spend so much time waiting for life to improve that we sometimes overlook the life we have been given today. Don’t postpone our joy until circumstances change. Don’t postpone our obedience until everything makes sense. Don’t postpone our purpose until we feel more prepared. The life God has entrusted to us is unfolding right now. Live with expectancy. Live with conviction. Live with gratitude. Live with intention. At the end of the day, the greatest tragedy is not that life was short. The greatest tragedy is discovering we spent too much of it existing when God had invited us to truly live (P.C.).
Have a good, safe and Blessed Sunday!
