Due to impending weather, the baseball games scheduled for today in Onaga against Blue Valley have been rescheduled. The games will now be played on Wednesday, May 6th. In addition, the games against St. Marys Academy that were scheduled for May 7th have been moved to May 8th.

NEW LEADERBOARD UPDATE!!

Congratulations to Willow Hochstedler who broke a couple records after last night’s double header at Rossville!! 🥎🔥 Willow now holds the #1 spot on the OHS Softball All-Time Leaderboard in Strikeouts with 292, and also the All-Time Leaderboard in Wins with 23! Willow is only a Junior and we expect to see these numbers continue to climb by the time she is done at OHS! 💪🏼🦬

OHS Softball split the double header tonight at Rossville, winning 7-6 in game 1 and losing 5-6 in game 2 (8 innings). Congratulations to Addison DeChant who hit a solo HR to right center in game 1! 💣 🔥 Addison currently holds the #1 spot on the OHS Softball All-Time Leaderboard in Home Runs with 13.

Big night for the Buffalo Track team at Jackson Heights !

Emmarsyn Fordham broke her own 2025 shot put record, improving from 39'1" to a winning throw of 39'11" 🥇 She also took 1st in discus! Congratulations

Lillie Weiser had an incredible meet, earning 1st place in triple jump, long jump, high jump, and pole vault 👏

More strong finishes:
🥈 Ryen Valburg – 2nd in triple jump
🥉 Vivian Berges – 3rd in the 1600m
🥉 Gavin Kolterman – 3rd in javelin

The Lady Buffalos brought it home with a 3rd place team finish!

Congratulations Jadyn Haskin!

Congratulations to the 35 students selected for the 2026 KSHSAA True Blue Scholarship, presented in partnership with Capitol Federal Foundation®! Each winner receives a $2,000 scholarship toward two- or four-year college, university or technical school of their choice.

This year, more than 561 applications were received across 35 activities, from baseball to esports to unified bowling. Winners were selected based on community service, academic achievement, activity participation and the breadth of school involvement.

These students are a great example of what Kansas high school activities are all about.

He’ll hit the ground running this summer leading our weights and conditioning program, then this fall as our secondary PE teacher.
