The 2025 Washington Big Game Hunting Regulations are here!

The regulations pamphlet outlines rules and regulations for big game hunters in Washington including seasons, equipment, licensing, access, and more. The regulations pamphlet is now available on WDFW’s website. An electronic version of the regulations will also be available on the vendor’s "eRegulations" website soon, with print copies available at dealer locations across the state in May.

The new regulations incorporate decisions made by WDFW Director Kelly Susewind and the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission on proposed hunting season rule changes for this season, as well as information about new rules to limit the spread of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in Washington.

Our cover contest theme this year was "Hunters contributing to conservation." Our winning photo comes from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and depicts a volunteer removing old barbed wire fencing from WDFW's Asotin Creek Wildlife Area during a volunteer work project. Thank you, RMEF, and thank you to all hunters for your valuable contributions to conservation across the state.

If you have mobility or other ADA issues but want to get outside to hunt, fish, or just watch wildlife, there are programs that can help! Each spring, WDFW joins the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council (INWC) for their ADA Open House. This year, this free event is Saturday, April 12. It covers resources for people with disabilities, including:

• How to apply for disabled status for both veterans and non-veterans through medical providers and the VA,
• Hunting access to public and private property for people with disabilities,
• ADA hunting and wildlife viewing blinds available only to those with disabilities,
• Special programs designed for people with disabilities,
• Reduced pricing on fishing and hunting licenses for veterans and others with disabilities.

Please register in advance using the email or phone number on the flyer.
