Okanogan County Teachers! OCCC would love to pay for you to attend PAX Good Behavior Game training this summer!

For those of you new to PAX, the PAX Good Behavior Game is an evidence-based classroom strategy designed to improve student behavior, focus, self-regulation, and classroom climate. It uses simple, positive techniques and team-based games to help students build skills like self-control, cooperation, and emotional regulation while reducing disruptions and off-task behavior.

Research on PAX has shown benefits including:

Reduced disruptive behavior
Improved attention and academic engagement
Better peer relationships
Lower rates of later substance use and mental health concerns
Increased teacher satisfaction and classroom cohesion
It is used in classrooms ranging from preschool through middle school and is widely implemented in prevention and behavioral health initiatives across the U.S.

PAX offers both self-paced and live virtual training options. Both require 6 hours of training to become certified.
