Our Advance team showed up for International Overdose Awareness Day in Moses Lake hosted by our partners at the Grant County Health District to remember those we’ve lost, stand beside those who carry that grief, and remind our community that every life is worth saving. πŸ’œ

Team members from our Grant County office, Joselyn and Jose, connected with community members, strengthened local partnerships, and helped share lifesaving education about naloxone - including participating in a bilingual video to ensure this information reaches even more families.

We are especially proud to keep expanding education and connection within our Hispanic communities. Language should never be a barrier to lifesaving information, support, or hope.

Thank you to every organization, partner, and community member who joined us. Together, we can reduce stigma, prevent overdose, and make sure no one has to face recovery or loss alone.

Today, we remember the people our communities have lost to overdose - and we hold space for every family member, friend, and neighbor carrying that loss.

We also stand with those who are still here: those navigating substance use, those working toward recovery, and those who continue to love and support them.

Overdose is preventable. Naloxone saves lives. Compassion creates opportunities for people to heal.

For those we’ve lost.
For those still here.
For every person who loves them.

Remember. Act. End Overdose. πŸ’œ
