☘️ Congratulations to Our Newly Elected LAOH National Board! ☘️

The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in Missouri proudly congratulates the newly elected LAOH National Board, who will lead our Order over the next two years.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of these remarkable women who have answered the call to serve. Your willingness to lead, your dedication to our cherished principles, and your commitment to the future of the LAOH are truly inspiring.

And here in Missouri, we are especially proud to celebrate our very own Sandra Riley Swift as she continues her service on the National Board! 💚☘️ It is an incredible honor to see one of our Missouri Sisters helping lead our Order on the national level, and we could not be prouder.

As this new term begins, we look forward with excitement and confidence to the path this Board will pave—honoring the traditions that have shaped us, strengthening the bonds of sisterhood that unite us, and creating new opportunities for the generations of Hibernian women who will follow.

May your leadership be guided by wisdom, strengthened by faith, and inspired by the generations of Irish women who came before us.

Congratulations to the 2026-2028 LAOH National Board. I look forward to working with each and every one of you. I am excited for future goals and what we want to accomplish. Thank you for all you do for the LAOH and thank you to all the Delegates who put your trust in us. Also, congratulations to all the LAOH members who made their Degree at the Omaha State convention and a big thank you to all of the Omaha Convention Committee, you worked hard for this successful convention and it is much appreciated.

A special thank you to the gentlemen of the St. Louis and St. Charles Ancient Order of Hibernians in America who graciously stepped forward when asked to present the colors and serve as es**rts during the installation of the newly elected officers of both the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

It was a true honor for them not only to es**rt our newly elected officers, but also to es**rt our newly installed National President, Sandra Riley Swift, proudly representing the Missouri Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

A heartfelt congratulations to Sandi on her election as National President. This is a tremendous honor—not only for her, but for Missouri as well. We know she will lead our Order with the same dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment she has always shown to our Hibernian family.

We're keeping busy here in Omaha!
This morning 5 of our sisters from
LAOH - Kansas City, Missouri - Padraic Pearse Div. 1 , StL LAOH St Brendan the Navigator Division IV and LAOH, St. Charles, Mo - St. Patrick's Division received their degrees.

Receiving their degrees is a meaningful milestone in their journey with the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. Through this experience, they gain a deeper appreciation of our Order's rich history, cherished traditions, and the principles that have guided us for generations—Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity.

As Hibernians, we are united by our shared commitment to our Catholic faith, Irish heritage, and service to our communities. Today marks another step in that lifelong journey.

Congratulations to our Sisters on this special accomplishment. May your Hibernian journey continue to be filled with faith, fellowship, and service. ☘️💚

Thank you to Sheila McCrary of the StL LAOH St Brendan the Navigator Division IV and State President for submitting the nomination on behalf of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians of Missouri.

In 2 days and the Irish will descend upon Omaha and take over!
Looking forward to a great time with all of our Missouri Hibernians, reuniting with others from across the country we have met throughout the years and can't wait to celebrate the nomination and 🤞win🤞 of Sandra Riley Swift as our new National LAOH President!

Please keep the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians across Missouri—in both our City and St. Louis Divisions—in your prayers as we mourn the heartbreaking loss of three beloved Hibernian sisters in just the past few weeks: Stacy Durkin, Loretta McLaughlin Sheerin, and today, Betty McLaughlin Bradley.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the example each of these remarkable women set through their faith, friendship, service, and devotion to our Order. Their legacy lives on in the women they inspired, mentored, and loved, and it will continue to guide future generations of Hibernians.

May perpetual light shine upon them, and may they rest in the peace of Christ.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Aunt Betty, Betty McLaughlin Bradley, who entered her eternal rest today.

Aunt Betty was the devoted mother of Teresa Bradley Reagan, the loving aunt of our beloved Charter Foundress, Loretta McLaughlin Sheerin, the great aunt of Sheila McCrary and Tricia Cash, cherished second great aunt of Jessica McCrary Griffin and Kaitlyn McCrary, and treasured third great aunt of Maggie Griffin.
To the rest of our Division, she was simply "Aunt Betty." Her warm smile, gentle wisdom, and steadfast presence touched generations of Hibernian women. She welcomed everyone with kindness and embodied the very spirit of our Motto—Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity.

Earlier this year, Aunt Betty proudly celebrated 50 years of faithful membership in the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, while her neice, our beloved Loretta, celebrated 25 years. Together, they leave behind an extraordinary legacy of Irish women whose example of faith, service, and devotion will continue to guide those who follow in their footsteps.

As we mourn another cherished member of our LAOH family, we ask that you please keep the Bradley Clan and the Reagan Clan in your prayers during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the love of family, friends, and the promise of eternal life.

May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in the peace of Christ.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! ☘️

For generations, Irish men and women dreamed of a land where faith could be practiced freely, families could flourish, and liberty belonged to every person—not just the privileged few.

Many crossed the Atlantic carrying little more than hope, determination, and an unbreakable spirit. They came from a people who knew hardship... and who would not be ruled.

They helped build this nation—laying railroad tracks, serving in our armed forces, protecting our communities, leading our churches, raising families, and strengthening the fabric of America through faith, hard work, and sacrifice.

As Irish Americans, we are proud to inherit that legacy.

Today, as our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, we remember those who dared to dream of freedom, those who fought to preserve it, and those who continue to defend it today.

May we never forget that liberty is not simply inherited—it is cherished, protected, and passed on to the next generation.

From the shores of Ireland to the promise of America, the spirit of freedom lives on.

From all of us at the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in Missouri, we wish you and your family a joyful, safe, and blessed Independence Day.
