🚧 We need your help!

NDOT is planning improvements along the I-480 corridor from I-80 to Harney Street and has asked us if there are any historic or culturally important places they should know about before construction begins.

💬 What places, landmarks, buildings, parks, churches, or memories along this corridor do you think should be considered?

Comment below or send us a message. We'd love to hear your thoughts!

On Tuesday, the Omaha City Council will read a proclamation in honor of Sharon Olson, who did so much to make this neighborhood what it is.
Sharon died July 6 at age 83.
She leaves behind many friends, great memories, and an incredible legacy:
Halloween on the Boolevard, which brings joy to 3,000-plus kids and adults; a beautiful flower garden at Minne Lusa and Martin; generosity that strengthened our elementary school; benches along the boulevard to rest on; Minne Lusa House, a gathering spot that knotted together our community; and so much more.
Thank you LaVonya Goodwin for City Council and Pete Festersen for arranging this honor.
