Shout out to the 16U b’ys from JC93 Hockey — they peeked out at our sq**rt team during our championship game and immediately started cheering them on.
We dropped the game, but these boys kept cheering them on until the buzzer. Thanks for bringing us up! Hope you did well in your game!

Another great day for the Nebraska Aces at the Mile High Cup! Our peewee team played hard, and ultimately split the day going 1-1 but ended on a high note with an 8-1 win against the Pueblo Heat!
They’ll finish the weekend 2-2! We’re so proud of this team and so grateful for our amazing coach and hockey family!
Our sq**rts and bantams will both play for the championship in their divisions, and we cannot wait to see how they do!

Alright, so our Sq**rt team hasn’t exactly had a dedicated broadcaster this weekend.

Good news, we found a family member willing to work remotely! Which is pretty much the equivalent of an emergency call-up.

The countdown is on, the work has been put in, and we're getting ready to go wheels up for the Mile High Cup. Let's see what these young Aces can do!

Today we're giving a big shout-out to the Nebraska Aces Hockey Club for their partnership support and generous donation to PlantNebraska. Funds raised during their aptly named Twig Fest in April will support PlantNebraska's tree planting, garden making and environmental outreach work all across the state! Plant more trees...play more hockey!

After battling our way to a runner-up finish in Nashville and bringing home a championship in South Dakota, the sq**rt crew has their eyes set on gold at the Hockey Mile High Cup in Denver.

The vibes are high. The wheels are up soon. And if these two are running the strategy meetings… the boys better listen!

The Denver teams go wheels up in one week, but cool kids like this one have their sights set on the Cornhusker State Games.

A few practices in, a pair of aviators on, and it already feels like he's been here the whole time.

We're grateful for every player and family that chooses to be part of this amazing hockey adventure with us. Watching kids find confidence, make friends, and fall in love with the game is what it's all about.

Keep those shades handy, bud. Your turn to fly is coming soon. ✈️🏒

Dear Ryan,

I hope you're not mad that I'm sharing your gratitude on social media, but I love the community everyone who is a part of this club has built. And words like yours keep us moving forward, continuing the climb, and flying.

When we started the Aces, it wasn't about wins, trophies, or building the biggest program. It was about creating a place where kids could grow, gain confidence, fall in love with the game, and be surrounded by people who genuinely care about them.

Truthfully, those words mean more than you'll ever know, and so, taking a page out of the Omaha Mavericks book, I am sharing this: "That's our why."

To the families who trust us with their players, thank you. To the volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and supporters, thank you. And to the players who show up every day ready to learn, compete, and have fun—you are the reason we're here.
