As we reflect on the incredible success of Cars & Cures by NHF, we are overwhelmed with appreciation for every person, organization, and business that helped make this event possible.
To our foundation partners, dedicated volunteers, Victory Lane Omaha, local media partners, passionate car enthusiasts, supportive friends and families, and everyone who donated their time, talents, and resources, thank you. Your generosity, encouragement, and belief in our mission created something truly special.
Most importantly, thank you to our local community. The support, kindness, and enthusiasm shown throughout this event exceeded anything we could have imagined. Cars & Cures was more than a car show. It was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support neighbors facing cancer and other serious illnesses.
A very special thank you to Scott for sharing Beetlejuice, this year's showcase car, with all of us. Seeing the excitement and joy it brought to attendees, especially those battling illness, was something we will never forget. For a few moments, many were able to set aside the challenges they face and simply enjoy the experience. That gift is priceless, and we are deeply grateful.
One of the most memorable moments of the day was experiencing the pure joy of this year's giveaway winner. Hearing winner share that she is a cancer survivor herself made the moment even more meaningful. Her story served as a powerful reminder of why we do this work and the hope, strength, and resilience that exist within our community.
This event marks the beginning of an important journey. Because of your support, the Nick Howe Foundation can continue growing our impact and expanding the resources, assistance, and hope we provide to individuals and families in our local cancer community.
We look forward to sharing the stories, milestones, and lives touched as we move forward together.
