We are SO excited to announce we are partnering with Hurrdat One for the first ever Sports For Kids Foundation Garage Sale!

On Sunday, Nov. 8, beginning at 11 a.m., we will be at Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill in LaVista with so many incredible items up for grabs, including cards, memorabilia and more. All proceeds go to help special needs kids. Plus, Hurrdat will be donating 10% of all food proceeds from that day to help even more kids!

Grab a keepsake, eat a delicious lunch, watch some games and help some brave kiddos. Seems like a great Sunday to us!

We had a wonderful day Sept 14th at the annual Sports For Kids golf outing at the Player’s Club here in Omaha. While the weather was a bit soggy, the smiles were aplenty.

Thanks for all the support as we raised over $9000 for gifts for special needs kids and their families.

We are an all volunteer only program. No paid employees, so your dollars really go to support those in need!!

Thanks again, and be sure to save these dates. Nov 8th we will have a SFK garage sale at Hurrdat Sports, and next Feb 27 will be the 36th annual SFK Benefit Dinner and Auction, this year at The Relevant Center in Elkhorn! See you there.

Today is the Sports For Kids golf outing. Hoping to still play with all the rain we received.

Rashid is a high school student from Omaha living with cerebral palsy. Insurance covered the cost for his first wheelchair. However, when Rashid outgrew it, the insurance company denied covering the expenses for a second.
Rashid’s family was at a loss with what steps to take next. Not only were the expenses a massive burden, but their son’s wellbeing was their top priority. Thankfully, they turned to the Sports For Kids Foundation, which was able to help provide Rashid the perfect motorized wheelchair, so he could continue going to classes and spending time with his friends.
When families have nowhere left to turn when advocating for their kids, the Sports for Kids Foundation strives to be the solution. Stories like Rashid’s are only possible because of your support.
The next opportunity to lend a hand is a fun one: our annual golf scramble on Monday, Sept. 14! We need two more foursomes to sign up to hit our goal and help more kids, like Rashid.

Come help out some wonderful special needs kids and enjoy an amazing day of golf at the same time. Raffles, lunch, dinner, and prizes.
