Lutheran Family Services

Lutheran Family Services Lutheran Family Services expresses love to all people by providing quality human care services.

Lutheran Family Services (LFS) is a faith-based, not-for-profit, multi-service human care agency with 19 locations across Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. Our mission is to provide human care services that build and strengthen individual, family and community life. The services we provide are as diverse as the people we serve and we are available to everyone regardless of age, race, religion or income.

We serve our communities through three broad service areas:

Behavioral Health, including mental health counseling, sexual abuse/incest treatment, substance use treatment, and specialized counseling for children, adolescents, adults and families;

Children Services, providing infant, international and foster care adoption services and searches, foster care, pregnancy counseling, maternal health care and family support services; and

Community Services, offering services to immigrants, refugee services, and preventative education.

🌟Thank you, Augustana Lutheran Church, for your friendship, hospitality, and dedication to our community!🌟

For 13 years, Augustana Lutheran Church has opened its doors to LFS English as a second language students, providing a welcoming space where refugees and immigrants could learn English, build connections, and take important steps toward building new lives in our community.

As we transition our classes to new locations, we want to thank Augustana for its partnership, generosity, and support over the years. Their commitment to welcoming newcomers has made a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals and families.❤️
