Today we celebrate not only fathers, but also the coaches, mentors, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, father figures, and every man who has chosen to show up, pour in, and make a difference in the lives of our girls.
Thank you for the rides to practice, the words of encouragement, the cheers from the sidelines, the lessons in perseverance, and the example you set every day. Your love, guidance, protection, and support help shape strong, confident young women.
To all the amazing men who stand in the gap, lead by example, and help our K.A.P.D. families grow and thrive; we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today.

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the generations who came before us and paved the way for us to dream bigger, stand taller, and walk boldly in our purpose.
Looking at these beautiful young ladies, I see more than cheerleaders. I see future leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, mothers, coaches, and changemakers. I see strength. I see excellence. I see the legacy of those who refused to give up so that these girls could have opportunities to thrive.
At K.A.P.D., we believe representation matters. We believe our girls deserve to see themselves as capable, worthy, and powerful. We celebrate the beauty of Black culture, Black joy, and Black excellence; not just today, but every day.
May these young queens always know they come from a people of courage, innovation, faith, and determination. The future is bright because they are in it.

Today’s Tumble & Jump Camp was a huge success! 🤸🏽‍♀️✨
I’m so proud of every girl who showed up, stepped outside of her comfort zone, and tried something new. Growth happens when we’re willing to be beginners, and today these athletes did exactly that. I can’t wait to see how much they accomplish throughout the rest of the summer.
A very special thank you to Cheer Athletics Omaha⁠ for hosting our KAPD girls. It was incredible to train in a state-of-the-art cheer facility and give our athletes the opportunity to experience that environment.
Shoutout to Coach Z, Coach Abby, Coach Eli, Coach Bester, and Coach Carlos for taking the time to pour into our girls today. Your encouragement, instruction, and investment meant more than you know. The girls made memories that will last a lifetime while building skills, confidence, and technique that will help take them to the next level.
The future is bright for these athletes, and this is only the beginning. 🖤🤍📣

Strong athletes aren’t built overnight; they’re built through repetition, consistency, and attention to detail. 💪🏽📣
Our 4th–12th grade K.A.P.D. CHEER athletes are putting in the work to master strong technique, proper body positions, and the fundamentals that create success. Every drill has a purpose. Every correction is an opportunity to improve. Every practice is a step closer to excellence.
Proud of these young women for embracing the process, staying coachable, and understanding that great technique today becomes great performance tomorrow.
The goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress. And these girls are making it every single day. 🖤🤍
Practice breeds confidence. Excellence follows effort. ✨

Every new skill starts somewhere. Today it’s watching closely, listening carefully, and giving it a try. Tomorrow it’s a little more confidence, a little more strength, and a little more progress.
So proud of our Pre-K through 3rd grade K.A.P.D. 📣 CHEER athletes for being willing to learn one step at a time. Building strong habits, strong technique, and strong confidence day after day.
These Pas de Bourree and ponies are coming along beautifully; and before long they’ll have them down like pros! Keep showing up, keep practicing, and keep believing in yourselves. 🖤🤍

Last night our 4th through 12th grade athletes put in the work at stunt, and what stood out most wasn’t just the skills; it was the trust. 📣✨
Stunting is about so much more than lifting and being lifted. It’s about knowing your teammates have your back. It’s about trusting that when you take a chance, someone will be there to support you. It’s about understanding that if you fall, you’re not falling alone—your team is there to catch you, encourage you, and help you get back up.
The lessons being learned go far beyond cheerleading. These girls are building confidence, communication, accountability, and sisterhood. They’re learning what it means to trust others and to be someone others can trust.
So proud of these athletes for continuing to push themselves, support one another, and grow stronger together every single practice. 🖤🤍📣

Last night our Pre-K through 3rd grade girls absolutely crushed it at stunt! 📣✨
One of my favorite things to watch is their fearlessness. They aren’t afraid to support their teammates, they aren’t afraid to try something new, and they definitely aren’t afraid of falling down. Every wobble, every miss, and every retry is building confidence, trust, and resilience.
The strongest athletes aren’t the ones who never fall; they’re the ones who get right back up and try again. So proud of these girls for stepping outside their comfort zones and showing so much courage. The future is bright! 🖤🤍📣

The girls did AMAZING today cheering on the K.A.P.D. Colts! 🏈❤️
What looks effortless on the sidelines is the result of hours of practice, discipline, and dedication. Standing in 90° heat, smiling, performing, and perfecting their craft is no easy task; but these young ladies made it look beautiful.
So proud of the energy, spirit, resilience, and professionalism they brought to the field today. The future is bright when young women learn that excellence isn’t just about showing up; it’s about showing up consistently, even when it’s hot, hard, and uncomfortable.
Keep shining, ladies. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. 🖤🤍
