The Furniture Project is excited to announce the newest addition to our team! Cameron Leininger will be taking over as our Volunteer Coordinator as Tinca transitions to focus full time on Agency Relations.

Cameron’s background in his words:

For a little more than a decade I’ve worked in Omaha’s music and skateboarding scenes, where I’ve helped build skateparks, founded a community-ran music venue and rehearsal space, and mentored many to help foster creativity and growth. I am motivated by my passion to connect people with their interests, and to cultivate spaces where they feel comfortable. And now, I look forward to using that same energy to help make the most important spaces for those in our greater community feel comfortable— their home.

Your neighbors need your help!

As our community recovers from the storm of September 30, we know that people across our area are looking for ways to assist the impacted families. We know that hundreds of homes have been damaged and will be in need of new beds, dressers, couches, dining tables, etc.

The Furniture Project will be providing furniture and household items to those who are not able to salvage their belongings.

If you’re able to assist, please drop off your donations of gently used furniture and household items at our warehouse located at 10808 J Street, Monday-Friday 10-3 and Saturday 10-1.
