We would like to thank and congratulate all of the apprentices who competed during our local apprenticeship competition on May 8th & 9th. Along with those individuals, a special thanks goes out to the Journeyman who helped judge all the events! Corey Rytych, Dillon Hofeling, Dan Evans, Blake Rollag, Steven Salwei, Sam Flowers, Juan Ayala, John Funkhouser, Jason Fox Jr., Cooper Graser, Keith Laue, Kevin Laue, Alex Warner and Vincent Quattrocchi.

Qualifying to compete at the District Council level hosted by Local 8 in Marquette, Michigan were;
1st place: Tyler Rauscher
2nd place: Read Booth
3rd place: Alan Chavez

All 3 competitors represented Local 21 extremely well during the District Council competition which was held June 10th - 12th. The other Local Unions participating in the event were, Local 8 Milwaukee, WI, Local 67 Des Moines, IA, Local 89 Cedar Rapids, IA, Local 383 Madison, WI, and Local 512 St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN
We are proud to announce that Read Booth finished in 1st place while Alan Chavez finished in 2nd place! Mr. Booth became the first apprentice from Local 21 to win the event!
With their performance, both Read and Alan qualified to compete and represent Local 21 during the International Apprenticeship Competition which will be hosted by Local 5 in Washington DC, September 29th - October 3rd. There they will test their skills against the top competitors from across the country! BEST OF LUCK, READ and ALAN!
