We had our end of school year and end of school calendar programming youth and family night. We were able to have a special ceremony for a couple young relatives, share a community pot luck meal and some healthy competition with traditional games with adults and youth. As always we at Bluebird are thankful for all of the community's support, love, and time spent allowing us to be a part of your journeys.

We look forward to a great summer full of culture, community and shared space and time. Follow us on Facebook for summer programming, events, workshops and scheduled open regalia making and traditional arts days!

We had an amazing time hosting the 2026 Metro Area Native Graduation Honoring yesterday. Please welcome us in congratulating our young community relatives in acknowledgement of all they have done to get to their High School graduation.

We were blessed to spend time and space with them and their families for a feathering ceremony, a blessing for all the graduates, certificates given and a meal shared. It was beautiful to see.everyone to come together and continue to encourage them on their journeys after high school.

We had the privilege to share time and space with approx. 300 of our young relatives and Community educators, partners and support people at the Nebraska Native Yotuh Gathering in West Point, NE today. Our amazing Peer Leader Kylesse Walker assisted Nicole Benegas with speaking on "The Modern Resilient Native: Culture, Career, and Community". We are always gratefull for the opportunity to share encouraging words and reconnect to our young community relatives from across the state at this conference. Our present is bright and our future is just getting brighter! A room full of young Leaders, Warriors, Protectors. Change Makers and Knowledge Keepers.
