Today, our hearts are with the families, survivors, and first responders who carry the weight of September 11, 2001. Twenty five years later, we still hold space for the 2,977 lives lost on that Tuesday morning.

We also pause to honor every life lost in the quarter century that followed. The thousands of first responders and survivors who have since died from 9/11-related illnesses. The more than 7,000 U.S. service members who gave their lives in the Global War on Terrorism. The hundreds of thousands of civilians caught in the conflict. And the tens of thousands of veterans we have lost to the quiet battle at home.

September 11 changed our world, and it shaped an entire generation of children who grew up in its shadow.

Daegan was only three years old in 2001. Like so many of his peers, he grew up watching local National Guard units deploy, listening to stories from extended family members returning from the Middle East, and learning what service meant in real time.

If you have watched the new Netflix documentary, Turning Point: Generation 9/11, you have seen the story of this exact generation. A few of Daegan’s friends are featured in it, sharing their experiences, talking about Daegan, and showing what it was like to grow up under the shadow of 9/11 before stepping up to serve.

Today, we honor the lives lost on 9/11. We honor the first responders. And we honor the young men and women who grew up to carry the torch of service forward.

Love Never Ends.

Happy Labor Day to all! Be smart and safe!

Labor Day is all about celebrating hard work, dedication, and the strength of the people who build, serve, and protect our communities. 🇺🇸

At the Corporal Daegan Page Foundation, we think about the incredible work ethic that Daegan brought to everything he did. Whether he was pushing through a tough day of training or caring for his brotherhood in the Marines, Daegan put his whole heart into it.

Today, we take a moment to rest, recharge, and honor everyone who pours their effort into making our country and our local communities stronger. We are especially grateful for our past and present service members and the families who stand beside them.

Enjoy your day with family, friends, and loved ones. Remember that love never ends, and we are stronger together.

September is National Service Dog Month, and it hits close to home for us. Anyone who knew Daegan knows how much he loved dogs. Beneath that tough Marine exterior, he had the biggest heart for his four-legged companions. 🐕‍🦺

Service dogs do life-changing work for our veterans every single day. They offer independence, quiet strength, and constant loyalty. They help carry the weight for those who served us, showing in a very real way that love never ends.

This month, we celebrate these incredible animals and the trainers who make their work possible. Thank you for keeping our heroes grounded, safe, and supported.

On Purple Heart Day, we pause to honor the incredible courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the men and women who have been wounded or lost in service to our country. We hold tight to those who carry the physical and invisible wounds of war, and we honor the memories of those who never came home.

For us, this day hits close to home. When Daegan made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan, he was awarded the Purple Heart, a profound symbol of his bravery, selflessness, and devotion to his brothers in arms.

Daegan showed us what it means to lead with heart and live fearlessly. Today and every day, we continue his legacy by standing by our past and present service members and proving that love never ends.
