we had an amazing time this morning at Detego Health. We were able to come in with a presentation about Give Grace and what we do within our community. After our presentation and a wonderful Q&A session with our fearless leader Lina, they gifted us a huge donation from their food and clothing drive and helped us to assemble 50 Grace Bags. With the additional donations, we will be able to put together many more! We still have to count through, but we expect over 250 Grace Bags to be assembled with all of the donations provided this morning!

Founded by 10-year-old Lina Guida, when she was just 5 years old, Give Grace is a compassionate, community-driven nonprofit organization serving individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the Omaha area. Guided by Lina’s vision and her desire to make a meaningful difference, Give Grace provides essential resources and support to those in need through its signature initiative: Grace Bags.

Grace Bags are thoughtfully assembled care packages that include personal hygiene products, nonperishable food items, water, and other basic necessities. Since its founding in 2021, Give Grace has distributed over 5,000 Grace Bags across the community. These bags are delivered directly to individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as to local shelters and the VA Hospital, ensuring they reach those who are most vulnerable.

Give Grace continues to expand its reach through volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and ongoing donation efforts. Lina’s leadership and dedication at such a young age highlight the extraordinary impact that one person’s compassion can have on an entire community. Her commitment serves as an inspiring reminder that meaningful change begins with a single act of GRACE.

We are unfortunately a very small non profit, so we are limited to providing one per family at this time.

Representing Give Grace and encouraging others to stop and think, even when busy with NYFW!

It was fitting that in the city with the largest unhoused population in the country, with approximately 772,000 experiencing homelessness, that I bring my flag, my sign, my platform, and continue to bring awareness to this horrible problem our country continues to experience at overwhelmingly quickly growing rates.

New York City was about fun and fashion this week, but the work never stops while there are still people struggling on the streets.

Today I hope that, among all the signs and billboards in Times Square, that mine stood out the most to at least a few people. I hope that it made people stop and think. I hope it inspired even just one person to do what they can to help!

Do you remember after the tornado- Relevant church contacted us letting us know the community needed baby formula and we overwhelmed them with donations? It’s time for YOU to put on your super hero cape again and help us, help the community.
We have been contacted by Release, a local nonprofit that helps serve children and families in Omaha. Their primary demographic is assisting those in foster care. With the ICE raids this past week, their uptake has lifted. Which means they NEED MORE ITEMS. Here is how WE can help.

Please take SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, SOAP, DEODORANT, and MENSTRUAL products directly to their location to help expedite getting items into the hands of people in need.

Our fearless leader Little Miss North America Revolutionary spent time raising money today while having fun! This is our second year participating in the Mud Factor 5k! Sponsors select a set dollar amount to sponsor per obstacle that Lina completes!

Krissy Gallagher-McMillan advocated on behalf of her community, helping her unhoused friends and neighbors fulfill their needs. She died in a homeless camp in east Omaha on Sunday.

I’m asking for these items because when dealing with mental health and trying to assist with practicing self-care, hygiene is important. This effects self-esteem and health issues that can lead to infections, cavities and gum disease. This will also lead to expensive dental work. Infections in the mouth can also spread throughout body, such as your heart. ❤️

I’m teaching parents and thier youth the importance of brushing, flossing and rinsing with a disinfectant that help with germs and bad breath. I have seen how this effects mental health and lack of motivation, stress of damage and how it socially causes anxiety.

I am putting together self-care sets in large zip lock bags. If you want to donate items, please contact me and I will arrange to pick up local@to Daytona Beach. All of these items can be purchased at the Dollar Tree and cost around $5 for all 4 items. This is a simple act of kindness and donation that will prevent further damage.
I am in Daytona Beach Florida but travel to Seminole county 3 days out the week. •
