💃🏻🕺Our younger members are burning calories and having fun doing so to their favorite tunes with Just Dance! Slow songs, fast song, or somewhere in between, we're encouraging our members to cut a rug!

❤❤ Did you know that playing for just 30 minutes burns about 180 to 300 calories? It's the perfect wat to get fit, feel alive, dance our ways to optimal health!

Shout out to Miss Neshe for stepping up to earn Employee of the Month for September 🥳🥳🥳 Neshe has been emerging as a leader by working hard to make sure our programs run smoothly and by continuing to build supportive relationships, especially with our younger members. Our September Baxter Subaru Youth of the Month is Jer’Naijah. Jer’Naijah is a very helpful and responsible teen who is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is the September Youth of the Month because she consistently helps other members without having to be asked. She is always up and moving during programming, stays engaged, and takes initiative to help wherever she is needed. Jer’Naijah is a wonderful example of responsibility, leadership, and being a positive role model for others.

Our September Baxter Subaru Jr. Youth of the Month is Abree. Abree is a bright, fun, and respectful young lady who is always willing to help others. She enjoys working with our younger members, especially when it comes to art and other activities. Abree is a hardworking and dependable member who brings a positive attitude to the club. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and is a great example for others.

Our Jr. Youth of the Year competitors did a fantastic job yesterday at the Club level competition. 🌟🌟

It takes tremendous bravery to step up and speak in front of others and to have the confidence to accept the feedback needed to grow even better. ♥️

Abree and Shavondria spoke about their Club experience, educational and career goals, and hobbies. Most importantly, they spoke about the strong impact that Mount View Boys & Girls Club has made on their lives. Together, they have nearly 15 years of club membership 💓💓

Let's congratulate Shavondria for being this year's Jr. Youth of the Year winner 🏆 and let's keep an eye on both ladies as they carve out new goals and reach new heights!

📚Reading is dreaming with your eyes wide open!

If you couldn't tell from the pictures, our members are VERY excited for their daily reading program check-in!

👨‍💻👩‍💻Lalilo program is an online, adaptive literacy learning platform designed for our early readers. Embraced by us here at Club, the program is built on the "Science of Reading" and helps members master foundational reading skills.

For North Club Families- North Boys & Girls Club only. Please share.

Due to ongoing maintenance repairs that have not yet been completed, the North Omaha Boys & Girls Club will close at 5:00 PM today.

Normal after-school transportation will be provided to the Club. However, if you are able to pick up your child directly from school, we encourage you to do so.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to complete these necessary repairs. We anticipate that all repairs will be finished and that the Club will resume normal operating hours tomorrow.

Today, we took our members to Career on Wheels at the Bryan Boys & Girls Club. The students were encouraged to get hands-on and be curious about different career fields, especially those careers that drive specific vehicles. 🚗
